With so many restaurants not making it through this rotten time, it was such a bonus to find this excellent family run place not far from Estoi. Everything we ate was as fresh and tasty as possible, from the crunchy sardines the tiny, sweet, garlicky clams and the succulent spare ribs to the fab puddings pudim and an almond tart. Relaxed and friendly service and amazingly good value. Washed down with a couple of carafes of red wine….mmmm. We can’t wait to revisit.

Wonderful lunch in this understated roadside restaurant. Best cataplana I've had yet, we left nothing. Other dishes ordered by friends also excellent. Friendly service, good value.
