Extraordinary service and good. Had the fresh catch of the day and it was marvelous! Be sure to try the wines as well!
On 10th June 2021 my wife and I eat at this restaurant. When we arrived it was almost empty but we sat down and waited for service. The service was slow and we both ordered grilled fish. Afer eating one side of the fish I turned it over to find, not that it was undercooked, but it had not been cooked at all. My wife then found her fish was the same. We called the waiter over and asked for the fish to be finished. Now I would have expected a profuse apology and a fresh dish. No, they took the food away and cooked the other side. Then they didn't come near us to ask if every thing was ok, did we want more wine, coffee etc. We left and for the first time ever left not a cent asa tip. They didn't even have the decency to apologise and reduce the bill. What a disappointment for a restaurant with such fine views. Disgusted.
By no means an excellent choice of restaurent. Easily missed as this restaurent is located in the top left hand side corner of Faro Marina. You need to pass the AP Eva Senses hotel on your right hand side then turn left looking for an small ilumicated red sign over the door. Do not confuse the red restaurant sign with an ajoining restaurent. There are steps to the 2nd floor restaurent with amazing views across the Ria Famosa and the the right hand side Faro Airport. I was invited to purchase the fresh fish which could work out a little expensive so I opted for dishes from their main menu say 8 to 13 Euros. By no means an excellent choice of restaurent. Their menu prices are the same day or night. Closed Mondays and close for a siesta othe days of the week. I visited this restaurent twice but would have visited more times should I had discovered it sooner.
Ate here late in season after spotting it earlier in week. Restaurant was quiet and waiters helpful. After ordering a seafood platter for 2 it was suggested a starter would be superfluous after the usual bread and salad cover and a Vino Verdhe was also recommended both suggestions were spot on and absolutely correct. The platter included a whole lobster, 4 gigantic langouste and about 20 oysters, all delicious if messy to eat. After a couple of local deserts and a coffee each we were completely sated and perfectly satisfied. Not cheap €160) but not outrageously expensive for what we consumed and cheaper options available on the menu. Excellent views over river and towards airport!
