Zizzi - Farnham

Given that this was on the Saturday before Valentines day it was always going to be crowded. We've eaten in this restaurant many times before and it's become a bit of a favourite. Despite being pretty full the service was better than expected and we received all of what we ordered pretty quickly. I'm gluten free so the selections are good their Beef rib is really good and the chocolate melt is a great desert. All in all a great meal.

When we arrived assistant said they had no booking for us which I had made online so we had a lovely meal pizza xpress!!

Despite having booked a table a week in advance, they said they hadn’t received the booking and made me feel like that was somehow my error. Whilst they did eventually find us a table, we were very much made to feel like they were doing us a favour and squeezing us in. I would not book there again.

Poor service from start to finish, . Also the restaurant, especially externally, looks quite run down.

Garlic bread comes on a pizza basis, so it is huge and actually quite good. the vegan pizzas themselves are underwhelming. tomato pasta is their only other option and would you really want to pay £10 for the simplest dish of the world?
