The Melting Pot - Farmingdale

Always loved the cheese and chocolate. Not a huge fan of cooking my own food. Lol never get the steak to the way I like it. My opinion though. My older son LOVES the actual dinner. Our server was amazing!

Reservations are a must at the Melting Pot and the restaurant is not open for lunch. We requested a quiet table and were seated in a nice booth in front of the fireplace. Plenty of cheese varieties to choose from for the appetizer fondue. We picked the grill option for the seafood and meat entree, which was great. It was entertaining and we were able to cook everything exactly to preference. Finally, the dessert fondue, featuring fruit dipped in chocolate. It was definitely a fun experience.

The service was excellent, and since we didn't have reservations, we opted to sit at the bar. The food was tasty, but it wasn't quite impressive enough to justify the price.

This was our first visit, and both my wife and I were absolutely amazed! We had never experienced fondue before, and the food was fantastic. I want to give a special shoutout to Laura F., who took excellent care of us all evening—she truly is one in a million! Thank you for everything, and keep up the great work! Happy Valentine's Day! We can't wait to return!

We come to the melting pot every few years. This time we arrived early to beat the noisy dinner crowds and were seated by the fireplace! Cheese fondue is where it's at! They always offer additional dippers but we get so full! We knew that this would be a lot of food, and so the server was able to package up our salads. They were great the next day for lunch. Had a 4 course meal and left stuffed. So many options for foods, dippers and sauces. We like some of them and others not so much. We arrived at 4 and left at 7. At 7 they were pretty well packed for a Monday night. This space is kid friendly but not sure we'd bring our kids since this is a respite for us.
