Straight River Golf Course - Faribault

I learned that the menu was limited because the chef was recovering from surgery, but I tried the bacon cheeseburger and cheese curds, which exceeded my expectations. The handmade patty had a unique flavor that will definitely bring me back. The cheese curds were also excellent. I appreciated the restaurant's remote location and found my meal to be very satisfying. The staff member who assisted me was friendly and helpful. I even spotted a small herd of goats in the distance! If I had been able to order from the full menu, I would have likely given this place 5 stars.

This restaurant is fantastic for both lunch and dinner. The walleye on Friday nights is outstanding! Every meal we’ve had is consistent, no matter when we visit. The chef really knows what they're doing!

The prime rib was decent, although not exceptional. The potatoes and vegetables were served cold. Despite this, I would still consider returning.

I never want to go back to have their prime rib for fear that it can never live up to the first memory I have of it!!!!!! I told my husband that this was one of the most memorable meals I've EVER had and I'm well past retirement. BTW, Don't know the owners. Can't say much more.

Amazing food and great golfing! The food has amazing taste and the environment is SPECTACULAR! I love coming here with family on Saturday nights for the prime rib! The golfing is great. It's just an amazing coarse!
