Perkins Restaurant - Faribault

We are regulars at this location. The decor is a typical restaurant. The menu has a lot to choose from with something for everyone. The service is outstanding, the server was friendly and helpful. If you're in Lakeville, Mn and want a quick meal this is always a good choice.

Most of the time we stop here it's for dinner around 7, and they're fairly understaffed but do a stellar job every time. The last time we stopped quick to eat breakfast for dinner before heading to the hospital for my wife to start her induction, so it's a night that definitely will stick with me. The host helped clean the table before we sat down and was very nice and accommodating, as nice as you can be in such a pressing environment. Our server was friendly and asked about the new menu item I had because she thought of getting it for herself after her shift the limited time prime rib Benedict, seriously one of the best Benedicts I've ever had, as blasphemous as it might sound coming from Perkins of all places lol (please keep this on the menu, it's so good , the sauteed spinach and grilled onion melded perfectly with the juicy prime rib and hollandaise!

The ambiance is of a typical Perkins restaurant. The wait staff were quick to seat us even though it is busy. They have updated their menu with new specials. I ordered the brioche French toast platter. The food was good as always.

Stopped in at 1:45 on a Saturday afternoon. They were not busy at all but there were 3 waitresses working, plenty of people to cover the tables. Personally I am a huge Perkins fan. I love their breakfast. So I arrived super excited for a late breakfast today. Our waiter was less than friendly but you know, everyone has bad days. However it was a little frustrating to watch others come in get their food eat and go while we were still waiting on our food. But they had the waitress and not our waiter. Food arrived, and unfortunately it was incorrect and lukewarm. But the corrected it quickly. Overall a frustrating experience. I think for me I will stick with a different location. But as always I recommend you try it for yourself. I am just one voice of many. . Happy Eating my friends.

If I could give a 0 star...I would. food looked like it had been sitting out and chicken was grey and dry, Also management was inconsistent as well as inconsiderate . Overall terrible experience and I'd recommend taking your money elsewhere
