Crooked Pint Ale House - Faribault

I've heard nothing but praise for this restaurant from my coworkers, so I decided to try it out myself. Unfortunately, it appeared they were short-staffed. Even with half the restaurant closed and everyone seated at the bar, they struggled to manage the service. Our waitress was very friendly, which was a plus. We both ordered the Lucy burger with jalapeños and shared a plate of loaded totchos. However, the food seemed lacking in flavor—it was overall quite bland. We requested our burgers to be cooked with a little pink, and the server assured us they would be since they had cheese in the middle. Unfortunately, our burgers came out well-done with no pink and tasted under-seasoned. On a positive note, the drinks were cold. However, our waitress didn't check if we wanted refills until we were about to leave. Based on this experience, I likely won’t be returning, as the food was disappointing.

I am extremely disappointed! This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. The prices have doubled, but the quality of the food has declined significantly. The drinks were also smaller. My child's meal arrived burnt, and when we tried to address it, the manager argued with us about whether it was actually burnt. My child eats chicken strips everywhere, and this was unacceptable. As for my meal, the “fish dinner” was undercooked and had a doughy, squishy texture. They used to serve beef stroganoff, but that's gone now. To make matters worse, they didn’t have Dr. Pepper! I won’t be returning for a long time!

This restaurant offers a wide variety of craft beers, and the menu goes beyond typical bar fare. There is an excellent selection of dishes at reasonable prices. Our server was friendly and attentive. The location is great, with plenty of parking available.

Pleasant atmosphere. Indoor as well as Outside seating is available. Not crowded and seated right away. Several menu food options are available and are fairly priced. Server was nice and friendly. Drink options range from beer to wine to cocktails ifone desires such libations. Food and appetizers arrived in a timely fashion and was hot and fresh. I would recommend dining herewhether you're alone or with a family or small group. Only complaint was it felt rather dark and could be better lit.

We stopped by for lunch during an impromptu road trip and thoroughly enjoyed our meal, which included lucy burgers and a walleye sandwich! Our server was friendly and shared a few jokes with us. We sat on the terrace, which made for a lovely experience. I highly recommend this place!
