Fairfax Deli Pizza - Falls Church

Quick takeout, delicious pizza, and surprisingly amazing wings (crispy and light, not greasy). The pizza isn't New York-style (it has a thicker crust), but it's very good—possibly the best in the area. They don’t hold back on the sauce or cheese, and it’s cooked to perfection.

What I appreciate about this spot, in addition to the food, is its long-standing presence in the community—I believe it has been in business since the 1970s, which is comforting to see in today's world. It’s a quaint little hole-in-the-wall, and while the parking lot can be tricky to navigate at times, I’ve never had any issues during my visits. Recently, while searching for another local gem (the Frozen Dairy Bar & Boardwalk Pizza, which sadly no longer exists), Fairfax Deli was recommended to me. I nearly forgot about this place, so I felt compelled to write a review. According to Google, it’s been seven years since my last visit. However, the next time I'm in town, I will definitely stop by again, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Start with their steak and cheese sandwiches, and you’ll become a fan like I did!

This is a fantastic little place where you can find a wide variety of deli-style foods, from sub sandwiches to pasta, pizza, and more. They even offer some Latin American dishes; I tried the Silpancho and it was delicious. They also have bottled chicha morada! The staff is friendly as well.

Went here for Atol de elote and was refunded when I arrived since they didn't have it. They also didn't have horchata which was disappointing. However we got 3 subs and an XL white pizza which was good. The bread was tasty on the subs and pizza had good crust. I would try again if they have the other items since this is the reason I tried this place out to begin with.

Found this spot by accident. Ordered the steak cheese. Delicious! The guy behind the counter was friendly, order was ready within 10 minutes of me walking in the door. 10/10 Would recommend! I am from Maryland and just happened ed to be out I. This area, but if I ever am again I will definitely be coming back here again!
