This place has really gone downhill. It used to be our go-to spot for late-night bites after the club, offering everything from banh mi to hot plates of Vietnamese delicacies. Unfortunately, they’re no longer open 24 hours, a change that seems to have come about due to the pandemic, and there are always fights breaking out outside the restaurant. I stopped by after many years and ordered the Vietnamese pork chop over rice, but it was overcooked. I also got a smoothie that typically comes with boba, but guess what? No boba. The original Vietnamese staff, who used to hustle around the counter, are nowhere to be seen. Instead, the staff now is all non-Asian, which isn’t a problem in itself, but it feels like the owner no longer cares about maintaining the restaurant’s authenticity. It’s really disappointing because Ba Le used to be the go-to Vietnamese spot. I hope it closes down soon so someone can revive it and restore it to its former glory.
The shredded chicken here is fantastic! I've been enjoying it for over five years, and it consistently surpasses my expectations. The bread is always perfectly textured, making the meal even better. Each visit has only improved my experience. Today was no exception, and I'm grateful for it! Everything is incredibly fresh every time. Much love for this place always!
Love bale, the dinge have become somewhat more expensive and they are no longer open 24 hours, but also with everything I still try to take time and come for some banh mi, rolls, summer rolls etc.
Bought a vegetarian banh mi today. Not a fan. Underwhelming flavor on overly dry bread. Will not go back.
