I ordered the special of the evening, which was Portuguese chicken parmesan, and I highly recommend it if it's available. I intended to only eat half, but I ended up finishing the whole dish—it was that good! My fiancé ordered the fajitas and really liked them as well. The service was excellent; our waiter was attentive and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here.
Our server was a sweet and slightly shy lady. When I asked about the beer cocktails, she admitted she wasn’t familiar with them since she doesn’t drink beer. I can relate—as someone who works in healthcare, people often ask me about the game on TV, and I’m usually focused on my job rather than anything else. She was very polite and attentive throughout our meal, which I appreciated. I decided to try an orange moon beer cocktail, which is a light beer mixed with Grand Marnier and a splash of orange. It was an interesting combination—I didn't hate it, but it wasn't really to my taste, either. However, I did discover a new favorite: Evil Genius chocolate peanut butter porter. While it’s not a drink I would typically choose for a party, it was quite delicious. The mozzarella sticks were tasty, and we ordered mac and cheese plates—one was standard, while I opted for the buffalo chicken variety. The buffalo chicken wasn't overly spicy, but the chicken was tender and blended nicely with the cheese and macaroni. The portions were generous, and the flavors were well-balanced overall.
We've visited the TapHouse a few more times recently and I have to bump it up a star. Service has been good and the waitress was nice enough to go along my drunken ramblings the last time I was there. If you are going to order a few Manhattans, eat more than a salad. That's my drunk tip of the day. Nice cocktail list, decent draft list and a full bar. They also have a menu with a lot of variety. We've had the quesadilla, salads, chicken tenders, fajitas, pizza seafood, sandwiches, etc all with no complaints. One drawback is the parking. It can be tough depending on when you go. There's not a lot of decent options right in this area and I would recommend it.
This is a really nice spot. It has a cozy pub atmosphere, but the food is excellent, and they offer a great selection of craft beers—both on draft and in bottles. I found the staff to be friendly and dedicated. I arrived before the dinner rush, but they welcomed me and I had a great time at this establishment. There’s plenty of on-street parking, and it’s conveniently located in downtown Fall River.
4.444 Stars Great Brew/Gastro Pub in downtown Fall River. The room is spacious they have tables with better than average spacing and large booths. The back wall has bench seating with tables. The bar is well situated perhaps a tad short but a seat there is comfortable. The lighting is slightly darker but it has that lounge feel. There are plenty of TV 's if you want to watch the game . The food is next level comfort food. We started with a trio of chicken wings, Buffalo, Mozambique and Asian all 3 were tasty but I like the Mozambique the best. They have great burgers I had the Roasted Goat burger(Roasted Red Pepper, Goat Cheese, and Chipotle Mayo) with onion straws. The Reuben sandwich was good but could have a tad more pastrami. The prices are wallet friendly and the service was attentive and upbeat, parking: street. next time: Buffalo Mac n ' Cheese, the Guilty Burger. the hand stretched grilled pizza looked yummy, a variant of bar pizza ? Could use more local brews on tap. Beer cocktails!
