Your Spiced Falkirk

Small restaurant with very friendly staff and good service. Glad we had a table upstairs as it was very noisy downstairs. Food was average.

A couple of the meals were below standard but the others seemed to enjoy theirs. The well-done steak was cremated but we were not charged which was fine. Service was enjoyable.

My Wife and I try and get out for a meal at least once a month, previous visits here were very good. Starters were fine, but I ordered a medium rare fillet steak for my main, got my steak which was well done, mistakes do happen, but to try and tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not need to explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal. Did give us a free bottle of wine to apologize, which was a nice touch.

Had a lovely birthday lunch last Friday. All the food was very good although the tomato based sauce was apparent in the starters and main courses which was very good but might get a bit repetitive if you were dining there often.....still very good..

Checked online menu which was a lot different from the actual menu. Was told the online menu was the Edinburgh one which is ridiculous then told was an old menu Food was decent but actually left starving having had 2 courses. Portions are on the tiny side
