We didn't receive the fries we ordered, but were charged for them, overcharged for cheese (menu says £0.75, bill £1.50) kids pasta tasted like some watered down tomato puree, kids hot dog was tiny, especially in the larger bun. Was overcooked on one side and had a hint of spice to it. Adults burgers were fairly tasteless, definitely not made fresh as advertised. Service: Dine in

The place itself is nice. However, the staff didn't seem best pleased at having to serve us we were the only customers). In addition, the food was incredibly overpriced £14.95 for a chicken burger and chips). The burger meat was small, and dry. Very disappointed especially given the price. Saturday Night prebooked online and paid deposit per person. place was empty only another 3 tables taken, not the most welcoming place initially from the staff didn't look happy. We took our seats then told that we had to order via the APP then it changed to that it would be quicker if we ordered at the bar so that everything came out at the same time. Very strange as all other places you place your order with a waiter, so we ordered at the bar for drinks and mains and was surprised that we had to pay straight away as they are not allowed to have tabs open. Service was slow i could hear the just eat machine constantly beeping and see delivery drivers come and go. When the food did it was disappointing to see the portion sizes have changed and got a lot smaller, not really worth the price. Not once did a member of staff come over to check everything was okay or try to sell more drinks what you'd expect. They looked too busy cutting paper sheets for boxes that they building for takeaway orders, they had few tables at entrance where they had it all sitting on . We ordered deserts and these where extremely disappointing,we ordered 2 meringues nothing like the pictures or what had before was tiny and bottom too hard to eat. 1 cookie jar sundae it was not served in a jam jar as advertised, it was a small glass from the bar. When the deserts where brought to the table we still had all the mains plates sitting that we had to stack up and then ask one the members of staff for them to be taken away so had space to eat deserts not the service you expect. They also automatically add £1 to your bill so every time you order anything that's £1 for a charity i don't mind if you maybe ask first but should never be expected!. Overall the service and experience was the worst dinning experience received we felt that we where an inconvenience to the staff. If they continue to treat customers this way then this place will close, i think they mostly relay on online order which is a bad model for this sort of establishment. i would advise you pick somewhere else other than here and if you try comment on their social media page they will block you thankfully they are unable to do that on here. I have also emailed my concerns before leaving this review but nobody has taken the time to respond in over a month now.
Genuinely think the staff receive no training. Arrived at Falkirk and was greeted by a guy who looked shocked that they had a customer. We were told to pick our own table, which was easy given that nobody else was in. Then handed menus and told we could order using our phones! Rather than water service. Not wanting to order by phone we expected someone to come to our tablebut no. So after 15 minutes I approached the bar to order and was embarrassed to hear the girl in the red tea shirt with red hair ripping into staff. Then she asked the new guy to start cleaning with a mop and bucket. which he done with a passion but surely that’s something that should be done when there are no customers. Eventually we were served and the new guy took our order, clearly struggling with our order he went to his manager for help, but the poor guy got his face ripped off by the girl behind the bar. We felt really awkward for the new guy as he was the only one trying to work for his wages. Eventually the food arrived, my burger was shockingly small. Two bites and the meat was gone. Tasted great but size was poor. Had to approach the bar for more drinks as the staff were happy standing doing nothing (apart from the new guy that was still wiping the handrails with his mop and bucket to do what the boss had asked him to do) The place is decorated really good. Clearly a lot of money invested in it, but please invest in the training of your staff and the improve t in service will increase the number of customers I’m sure.
