After a long day sight seeing with American clients I ended in Falaise late evening. We all wanted a simple meal so we stopped at Brasserie La Renaissance , unfortunately they do not serve for dinner however Jerome the manager was very kind and took the time to call around to find us a place to eat. He found the Rozell. In my next trip to Normandy I will make sure to go for lunch at the Renaissance!! The Rozell is a very small “ crêperie “ , they serve homemade galettes and crepes. I have rarely been treated with so much warmth and kindness in a restaurant during the entire dinner the owner/chef and the wonderful and only waiter could not have done anymore to make us feel more welcome. The galettes were delicious and the locally produced cider wonderful! If you are in Falaise , go to the Rozell , it is a must!!!!
A very friendly and informal little creperie with a good menu. We had to have both a galette and a crepe! We had very good service from the owners who also had a great sense of humour.
A local recommended this lovely little creperie (they do salads too). They were about to shut but made us very welcome and the pancakes were delicious. The cider is well worth trying too. It's on rue de Caen about 5 mins walk from the castle
Being noon and evening at the restaurant,I wanted to eat crêpes.Creat with charm, very clean, good value price, hearty dish, you will eat fresh products. The boss has a sense of humor!, and she's in the quick service of the phone rings!
