Tamarind Tree Curries - FAIRY MEADOW

Delicious curries and fast friendly service. We will be coming here frequently. The kids loved the curries and keep asking to go back. My only complaint is it was shut one evening when we went to go back!

We ordered chicken tikka massala, rogan josh and korma curries. They were awful. Watery and tasteless. Rice was ok, the onion Bhaji were not good and the samosa was ok. The bread was passable. Overall the worst Indian meal I have had.

Ordered curries from Tamarind Tree Curries for dinner tonight. It was delivered in good time, however, dinner was terrible. The Rogan Josh and Korma were flavourless and super watery. Dinner was that bad, we had to order again from elsewhere!

Had a curry meal deal for lunch. It wasn't very nice. I ordered a garlic Naan too and this was floppy and tasted uncooked. Rogan Josh looked like congealed tuna and had zero flavour. Butter chicken was very plain compared to other places but...did present nice so it was a shock to be let down. No other customers or food on the serving area. This was ordered via the website and was hot when I picked it up. Service was fine as I was the only customer. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Girl at the counter was polite and smiled. I ordered beef vindaloo, rice and garlic naan. Meal was ready in mins. Vindaloo was nice and hot, and the meat was tender. However the sauce was watery and flavour was average. Naan was a bit...doughy, needed a couple mins longer. Rice as well. I would not have minded waiting an extra mins for better food. Portion size was good. Meal cost me with a can of drink. Tamarind Tree is not the worst Indian restaurant in the area, but I could get a much nicer meal for the same price in Wollongong.
