Longhorn Steakhouse - Fairview Heights

Longhorn consistently delivers a great experience, no matter the location. Their steak is exceptional, typically seasoned to perfection, flavorful, and juicy. The staff at this particular location were all friendly and attentive, ensuring I received my drinks and food right on time. However, the steak I ordered was slightly undercooked compared to what I usually expect. The edges were good, but the center could have been better. While it didn't quite meet my usual standards, it was still good overall. All the side dishes were excellent, the bread was tasty, and they continue to offer one of the best desserts around—the chocolate brownie. I always recommend this place!

If I had to sum it up in a word, it would be delicious. We celebrated my sister's birthday, and she ordered the sirloin with shrimp, fries, and rice. My mother opted for the ribs, along with mac and cheese.

Trash. Do not eat much steak because of price and health problems, so when I eat it, I really look forward to it. I had a Sirloin and it was tasteless. No marination, no salt, none of it. My salad was exaggerated in the dressing that made it inconspicuous. The wait was ridiculous. Call forward seating said about 45 minutes, but that turned into 1.5 hours. The food was good, but the steak was chewing on the Flatiron and the Sirloin. I may try again, but not if there is a waiting time!! Texas Roadhouse was actually better. Maybe it was a bad night, but I won?t recommend it as high as I would have,w I left completely disappointed.

Masks not required. We arrived on the commemorative day, Monday, at 2 a.m. and it wasn't too busy. Our server was great and food was good. I sat right away and didn't have to wait long for our food. Definitely recommend whether in the area.

The filet was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection according to my preferences. The lobster tail was equally delicious, and the salad was good too. Overall, considering the price, this restaurant is definitely a solid choice. The service was excellent as well.
