Crafty Crab - Fairview Heights

I paid 52 dollars for unseasoned corn, potatoes, and eggs that I could’ve made at home….after speaking with the waitress she comes back and tells us the chef will charge us 6.50 cents for extra sauce that was never in the big balloon bag…..then finally bring us out some sauce that tastes like the residue left in the bottom of the skillet after cooking fish or your chicken

My husband and I went here yesterday and thought it was great! We decided to go back and bring the family today. We ordered 1lb of snow crab and 1lb of shrimp in the first bag, and got a 2nd bag that was SUPPOSED to be 1/2lb of snow crab (we wanted a little more crab to share) and 1lb of mussels. Now, these are boiled in a bag and everyone just started opening the bags and sharing the food, naturally thinking the order was correct. We had avoided this place for a while now because it looked empty all the time and honestly it looks run down somewhat. We were so pleasantly surprised by everything. The atmosphere was nice enough, bathrooms could use a little help, but wasn't horrible. We got the special of 2 different Crab clusters and shrimp with potatoes, corn, and eggs in garlic butter. Group of 6 adults our first time there, the crafty boil was enjoyed by those that had it. We enjoyed the fried oysters and onion rings cooked perfectly and the salad was huge and so fresh!

Food was good. Slow paced if you want to chat before and after dinner.
