What do you picture when you think of a small-town café? This is it, and it's the genuine article. Although it's only open for breakfast and lunch, everything on the menu is delicious and fairly priced. This café tends to fill up quickly on Sundays during brunch, so if you find yourself without a table, just know that's a testament to how fantastic it is.

Friendly café with a skilled team. I had the Friday special, which featured catfish fillets. The fish was flavorful and had a perfectly cooked crust—not too heavy. The coleslaw was tasty, and it came with a generous portion of fries. I was lucky enough to snag the last two pieces of coconut cream pie at 11:30. That alone should convince you that Fairview Café is a must-visit!

The catfish filets on Fridays are excellent! I finally sampled the Sunday buffet, and I must say it was impressive. The fried chicken was delicious, as was the roast beef. Their pie crust is unbeatable. They also serve very traditional breakfasts. If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit. Plus, they offer daily specials.
