The Original Steve's Diner - FAIRPORT

Wonderful service and excellent food! I had their Irish Benedict and both the corned beef hash and hollandaise sauce were AMAZING! Plus that massive pancake! Would definitely recommend as a Sunday Brunch Location ????

One of my coworkers had potato pancakes paired with sour cream and applesauce. I'm not sure what cuisine that comes from, but I sampled some, and it was really tasty. There was definitely some onion or garlic in the mix—I'm not certain which—and let me tell you, it was huge! I would definitely say, "Don't knock it till you try it!" The other two coworkers opted for the Steve Special. One had it with waffles, and the other chose pancakes, both served with bacon or sausage patties and scrambled eggs. Overall, it's a great place for brunch. If you're looking for a satisfying meal, this is the spot for you, and you'll definitely get your money's worth and more. What a charming place! It was a busy Saturday morning, but we were seated right away at the counter. Unfortunately, they don’t serve alcohol (I was craving a Bloody Mary), but the waitress mentioned they are working on getting a liquor license. The restaurant was bustling, with many staff members efficiently managing the kitchen and dining area. I ordered the hangover breakfast, which consisted of home fries, eggs (I chose poached), chili, cheese, and a side of toast. I could've done without the beans in the chili, but that’s just my preference. My husband tried the "dumpster," which is essentially a garbage plate with eggs, and he was very happy with it. The love cakes looked enormous and delicious, as did their many Benedict options, so those are definitely on my list for our next visit. I highly recommend this place, and it's a great spot to bring your kids!

Wow, this place is fantastic! The pancakes are enormous—definitely larger than your head! They even offer a gluten-free option! The service was excellent, and the short wait was well worth it.

I'm picky with pancakes. They have awesome pancakes. Nice, fluffy and cake like. Biggest variety to pick from including gluten free. I was pleasantly surprised with Irish cream creamers for my coffee. Scrambled eggs are on the dry side but still good. Idon't care for the hash browns but my husband likes them. They are very popular and can have a longer wait time. Pagers workoutside in your car if you prefer to wait there or stop in one of the other shops. My pager worked in Sew Creative. It isdefinitely worth the wait. Friendly staff.
