It was the breakfast that came with the room that was awful. We could choose off of the menu so I would choose a vegetable omelette. When it came there was barely a garnish of vegetables. The next day I chose a vegetable egg mix. Same thing: no vegetables only these terrible potatoes they did but no one seemed to be eating. The third day I tried poached eggs which they just dumped into a cup plus those awful potatoes. The last day I could not face another one of their prepaid breakfasts. It was costing me more in tips than the meal was worth. Maybe a regular breakfast without a voucher is better? Where they trying to discourage us from using the vouchers by serving horrible meals? We enjoyed our stay at the resort but the breakfasts were an ordeal.
We just stopped here overnight from Osoyoos on our way to Edmonton. The lamb shank was very tasty - delicious mashed potatoes - but could have used more veggies. The Caesar salad was okay but it seems the chef forgot the balsamic reduction. Caprese salad was mediocre. Service was a bit too casual for my expectations of a dining experience.
While staying at the resort we had breakfast here twice, once as just a couple and once in a large group. Both times food was served fast, staff was friendly and everything was yummy.
Great place, great food, great service. That coupled with the amazing views and hot pools and a nice bottle of wine. Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
Went with a group (5 adults, 3 kids and a baby) but only had desert as I had already eaten, so I cannot comment on the mains. Desert was good but I found it a tad pricey. I would have prefered it to cost less and have less, as the portion was a little too much for me. Everyone seem to like their meals with no complaints. It's bit more formal and more like a resturant than the Bear Paw Grill next door, but still laid back and had a better ambience. Service was great, and had poliet and intentive staff. Would choose to eat here out of the two eateries if I visit again. Great for big groups and families with kids.
