City Barbeque - Fairlawn

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. The brisket is tender and flavorful, and the potato salad is simply delicious. I felt compelled to write a review not just for the food, but also to highlight the excellent customer service. The staff here are fantastic! Even the chefs, who you can see preparing your meals, greet you with a friendly hello and a smile. The atmosphere here is incredibly welcoming.

Absolutely fantastic! I've been dining here for five years, and I've never been let down. I love the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. Even the bungalow is delicious. They offer a variety of sauces to choose from, and the staff is really friendly. I think they even brew their own tea! What more could you want? Honestly, I'm not sure why I'm leaving such positive reviews—so many places have poor service and serve subpar food, but not here. I always have a great experience!

If everything my wife ordered had been served hot, I would have given this place 5 stars. The bride was good but served cold, while the pulled pork was warm. The green beans and mac and cheese were hot, and the grain bread was fantastic! The lemonade and sweet tea were excellent as well. I really admire how this restaurant supports young people in achieving their college goals by offering thousands of dollars in scholarships. Most of the staff are teenagers. Like many places these days, they were understaffed, which is likely why the food wasn't hot when it arrived. I'm not going to hold that against them. I will definitely be back!

City BBQ came for us in a great way for our company Christmas party. In the short term they were able to offer catering, delivery and facilities. Every employee I interacted with was pleasant and professional. I appreciate the hard work and sincere attitude we have received from this company. The food was great and the whole experience went smooth. Thank you to all the City BBQ staff who contributed to this happening to us. I note that the holiday season is your busiest time of the year for catering and you have still accepted our late request. You're great!

City Barbeque is definitely on the lunch time rotation. Only downfall is when you have your mind set on something and you see the dreaded sold out sign. Completely understand how that happens with this type of food. The staff are all very friendly and work quickly and accurately to get your food out to you. Which in my mind is very important for a lunch time location. Would also recommend their catering to anyone that is looking for some sort of office or home party.
