The first time in this place and it won't be the last! Great place and even better food! We shared the Big Daddys Platter and had to take a box because it was so much food. There were so many shrimps, crab claws and oysters in this plate. Then the piece of fish we got was so big that it covered everything else. It's just the food, not even the service or the view. The service was top notch and the view of the bay was so relaxing. Take definitely an appetite if you want to visit!

Visit the mobile area and ate there today with the woman and a long-term friend of us living in the area. We arrived at noon and immediately sat outside. The outdoor area has a good view of the Fish River. Our waitress, Melissa, was very efficient and quickly brought us menus and took our drinks orders. We ordered the fish speciality with sweet potatoes, Hush puppies and Coleslaw, Philly cheese steak sandwich with sweet potatoes and the Wels dinner with Coleslaw, Hush puppies and sweet potatoes. Our food arrived in 15 to 20 minutes and was delivered to our table as ordered. The Philly cheese steak sandwich meal was good, but had too much salt on it. The fish special was black and was delicious. The Wels dinner was also very good. A comment on the sweet potatoes is that they were unconsistent some were better than others not sure why. Our bill before the tip was about $42. A culinary experience that meets expectations.

Big Daddy's on the Fish River. Great site, although you need to know where to find it on the side street. Always good food with generous portions. The grandchildren like to play in the sand pile while we wait. The atmosphere is great where people are able to get the Fish River, docks at the marina and eat. The first-class rib sandwich and the Krugefisch-Po-Junge are popular. I'm sorry the expansion in Gulf Shores didn't come into force. Many great names competition beside the waterway.

Came for the first time with the boat today.. Great food, great drinks and solid service. Will be back soon.

I just had my family there for my husbands birthday (16 people). The food was fast good! The live band was good, but a little to load, probably especially for an older crowd, or if your trying to talk across the table.i dodnt like the fact that 20% gratuity was added! i think what i tip my waitress should be mu choice. I might would have tipped more had it not been required! But overall, we had a great experience can't wait to go back!!
