Hilton Garden Inn Fairfield

I'm a Hilton Diamond member so I stay at Hilton properties a lot. I stayed at this property in February 2023. I have to say it was a bit of a mixed experience.NO DUMBBELLS OR WEIGHTS IN THE WORKOUT ROOM! The workout room is quite small in this hotel and had two treadmills, elliptical, and they actually had a peloton which seems to be showing up in Moore Hilton properties recently. There was a cable machine but attachments to use it were limited. There were handles for hands but I didn't see any padded ankle straps to attach to the cables for working out legs. There is a bench but as I mentioned no dumbbells. I believe there were a couple of kettlebells, but this place is severely lacking in terms of workout space and the fact there are no dumbbells is shocking . I haven't seen any other Hilton property without dumbbells in years of traveling frequently. I presumed this place would have it but was disappointed.Most of the actual bedroom portion of my room seemed a little more modern and possibly updated, which was nice versus the typical older Hilton Garden Inns. However, the bathroom is still quite old and dated. My sink had WHITE SOAP RESIDUE STILL ON THE counter from the prior guest. Everything else seemed to be clean for the most part though.The TV size in the room is embarrassingly small.There were quite a few retail stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity as well as access to the freeway which from a location standpoint makes this hotel pretty good location.The parking in front is very limited so most everybody has to park around the back and then access the hotel through the back doors and then walking through a hallway to get to the front lobby and front desk.I had breakfast in the restaurant both days and my omelette was pretty good.

Wonderful venue for a wedding reception. The Ballroom was beautifully decorated and spacious with a small outdoor courtyard. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food and service was great! Conveniently located to many churches and parks in the nearby area.~Kristina Cilia Photography

What you'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Standard amenities and level of comfort. All 4 of the staff were very personable and accommodating. The room was clean, had a mini fridge and a microwave, thermostat and AC/heater worked well. Bed was a bit creeky. The shower was clean, with good heat and water pressure but the showerhead needed to be demineralized and the tub was terribly refinished. They are currently doing a $10 dining credit instead of breakfast for Gold and Diamond members but breakfast options start at $16 so expect to pay out of pocket or get breakfast outside the hotel. However, the unlimited complimentary bottled water was nice. The location wasn't near anything noteworthy but it was right by a highway entrance which made it a quick trip to Travis AFB, Napa, and Sacramento. There were also a bunch of chain restaurants (e.g. Chick-fil-A, Mimi's) and stores (e.g. Trader Joe's) within a walkable distance.

I recently try to stay there I'm booked like four nights and they tried to charge me deposit for each night which I never seen or heard anybody do that even the Hampton don't do that the Hampton if you book 3 days 4 days the the down the deposit is still the same $50 for one time not everyday and I booked the room for 4 days it was like to something they try to charge me $500 something dollars now they're charging my card $2 every day twice a day good thing I have my card locked but the people that work at the front desk they are you know they don't even dress appropriately number one they all look like they're on methamphetamine and just like they have no no idea what they're what they're doing they're not even and some of the girls there they look like 12 year old girls working in the front desk now I work for Hilton and the policy is you charge one time to deposit not if you book more than more than a day you're going to charge deposit for all that that doesn't make any sense I understand if you book one day and then the next day you book again yeah you got to pay $50 but if you book more than one day why would you pay $150 for the deposit it's just doesn't make any sense yeah so I would not stay there again services not good I'm very unsatisfied the people who's managing the place yeah they're like tweaking on something
