Five Guys - Fairfield

SOGGY FRIES EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I also ask for WELL DONE every time I come here and they never do it. I remember a time when this didn’t need to be said cuz they actually cooked their fries correctly and made them crispy. I don’t understand why this location can’t seem to figure it out. Sure they might LOOK crispy/finished, but they are not. Consistently soggy fries here. Sad. Get it together management!! Also a large fry should be more than enough for 2 people! Since when did five guys start skimping on the fries?!

I ordered Cajun fries well done, had the cashier confirm she heard me because it wasn’t on the ticket. She talked to the fry cook, instead of getting well done fries I got someone else’s leftover fries from earlier, the soggiest most raw fries I have seen out of five guys. This was my final trip to this location.

The staff was very friendly and energetic. The fries were delicious and the chocolate milkshake was actually chocolate-y. I took a picture of the fries because this was the small fry I ordered. I was very pleased to see that this was more like a medium or large order. This visit made me a fan and I 'll definitely be making repeat visits.

We like Five Guys because it 's reliable, consistent and fresh no matter what location we visit. Like other locations, this one is clean, staff is friendly and hard working. The place was clean, our food was perfect, and I love the massive beverage choices. I have celiac disease and cannot have any gluten, so I order a lettuce wrap, and as soon as you say allergy it 's announced to the line so they know to change gloves, etc. I always feel safe eating there, andy One Guy loves it, too. We always get fries to go, too they 're great reheated in the air fryer or toaster oven!

My review has nothing to do with the food. I stopped in for a burger and soda and waited well over 20 minutes. What I want to comment on is the staff. There were 3 people working (perhaps mgmt should have had more staff but not sure). These 3 people were nonstop taking orders, in person an online, cooking, bagging the food and apologizing for the wait each time they gave out an order. Kudos to them for being so polite and professional and working so hard!!! Whoever owns this particular location is lucky to have these 3.
