Permanently closed. I'm surprised it's still being advertised. It's not worth the trip.

This restaurant has been closed for nearly a year, but it was excellent when it was in operation.

We absolutely loved the desserts and miss them dearly—OH YES, YES, YES!!! If you're within 100 miles, you definitely should visit Stringbeans Family Restaurant in the lovely Fairfield Bay, Arkansas!

I ordered the chicken fried steak with cream gravy on the side, along with a baked potato and fresh peas. My husband had the ribeye steak, sweet potato fries, and peas. Everything was good, though not remarkable. The ribeye had some gristle and fat, but the portion was generous. We shared a slice of coconut cream pie, which was light and delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. This place feels like a cozy family diner.
