Village Sake - Fairfax

I love this little place! My favorite spot when I come to visit the bay area.

Love Village Sake except when you can’t get in! Their registration system does not work well. Registered at 5:06 and was #7 in line for my wife’s birthday. They asked me if I would like to be seated immediately. I texted back that our party of 3) was not ready yet and that 6:30 would be preferred. They said that they would accommodate us around that time. We showed up at 6:20 and checked in. There was no word from them until 7:00pm when I walked across the street to check in again. We were told that our reservation was lost in their system and that we needed to wait another 20 minutes to be seated. My wife got emotional and we left with her in tears. Ended up going to Stillwater where the food is equally fantastic and they serve real cocktails. Going to be a while before I try Village Sake again… :

Had the most incredible experience here! The freshness of the fish to the delightful appetizers. Can’t wait to come back!
