Parc De Ville - Fairfax

This was my third time visiting and it gets better every time. Frances was our server and he was so helpful and responsive. I highly recommend Parc de Ville. also, the duck was amazing.

We've been here a few times and have absolutely LOVED it; however, things have changed. First, I have NO PROBLEM with a table time limit, but the cooperation must be two way, it wasn't. We ordered appetizers and cocktails, then main course. After we ordered entrees, server reminded us of the window, then it took 30 minutes to get our entrees AFTER the appetizers had been cleared. So I have to eat faster because of the restaurant time limit combined with a slower than usual kitchen. Finished dinner with 15 minutes to spare and a reminder from the server that we had to be gone soon. Why offer me dessert while you're rushing me out the door? The duck was way overcooked, cold and the consistency of old stringy roast beef. So it was late coming out of the kitchen and it was overdone? We've recommended this place to so many, but will not be returning...you can't rush me AND slow roll me at the same time, it just doesn't work.

Food was very good once you got it. Been here a number of times but always drama with being seated and getting served. Multiple random servers show up saying they are your server even though you order drinks with another. One of the three even got angry with us when we said we just ordered with someone else. Stormed off in a huff. Waited a long time for each course. Had to ask for bread repeatedly since no food for a while. Extremely noisy. Hard to hear your guest. Not relaxing and lots of tumult. They kept apologizing. Food was good once it made it there. By dessert it was exhausting so we didn’t bother. Onto some other options in the area.
