Marumen - Fairfax

A great addition to the Fairfax restaurant community. It is only ramen, but it is done well. You get a choice of broth and toppings so everyone will be satisfied. Their appetizers are great.

The ramen was good and they did a good job making an old Pizza Hut look very modern. I ordered the spicy miso ramen with extra pork belly and the pork belly was very yummy. The waitress was very attentive, maybe a little over-attentive. She came to check on us, to the point that we felt pretty rushed (we still had a hr before they closed).

If you're in the mood for a delicious bowl of warm ramen soup, this is the place to visit! We've been to many ramen restaurants, but this one really stands out. They have a great selection of ramen and side dishes, and their broth is incredibly authentic. We will definitely be coming back for more.

This ramen restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Every dish we tried was delicious, from the spicy miso to the okonomiyaki and the pork buns. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu. Be sure to visit this place!

We have been dining at Marumen for approximately 8 years. The service is always friendly and the food is excellent. The karage chicken is particularly outstanding, with a large portion for just $7. They are accommodating to children, offering sauces on the side. We typically order one miso ramen for the kids to share (with leftovers for me) and spicy miso ramen for my husband. The dishes are all delicious, although I find them a bit too salty for my liking and for the kids, so I usually ask for hot water to dilute the soup. Overall, Marumen is probably the best value for money ramen place.
