The Hungry Robot - Fairbanks

The pizza is so delicious! The owner is incredibly involved and responsive to any problems (haven’t had any but read those occasional online complaints).I love their pizzas! Between East Ramp and Hungry Robot, my pizza needs in Fairbanks are met. The wood fired pizzas are amazing, and the ingredients fresh!!

The pizza is amazing and so were the Jalapeño rolls. Can't remember what they called them but they were amazing. Service was very friendly.

Got the opportunity to travel here for a day and saw this was on Triple D and wanted to check it out. This is a fantastic hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. We tried three different pizzas, and all three were fantastic, including one with mashed potatoes on the pizza. If you’re in town, and can wait for the wood fire pizza to be made, it’s worth the wait.

After ordering delivery and pickup pizzas covering a large portion of their menu, I’ve found that there is much better pizza to be had elsewhere in Fairbanks. I gave Hungry Robot several fair tries, but they can’t beat better toppings and crust and a much more broadly appealing experience at other restaurants in town. I have not yet tried their food truck’s pizzas, but delivery often arrives lukewarm or cold (even in the summer) and the delivery/pickup pizzas are always cooked unusually (charred on the outside which I enjoy, but doughy/soggy in the center). The flavor options are good, but that doesn’t counterbalance the other things wrong with the food, and you can get good flavor/topping options at other spots.

First time patron and everyone has told me wonderful things about the hungry robot, so I went in with high expectations. Let me tell ya, I'm not disappointed! We got two large pizzas, one margherita and one supreme. Absolutely delicious! I will also be recommending this pizza place! ?
