Taco King - Fairbanks

At first glance, I mistakenly thought this place was a fast food restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not; the food comes out quickly, but they really prioritize using high-quality ingredients and everything is made fresh to order. The service here is excellent! The staff at the checkout were friendly and very helpful. I tried the sock and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Surprisingly great! I was in search of something different from the usual fast food options and decided to give the Halibut Tacos a try. Wow! They were packed with flavor. As a Latina, I have strong preferences when it comes to Mexican food, and this place did not let me down. The beans and rice were delicious, and the handmade tortillas really won me over. The service was friendly and pleasant, though you might have to wait a little while.

I’ll definitely go back if I have the chance! I moved from Fairbanks to Oregon, but I still visit every summer. I lived in Fairbanks for 11 years, and this restaurant will always be my favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly, and I believe they all speak both Spanish and English. I love their Asada special tacos and chicken enchiladas. The food comes out super fast and is made fresh, not frozen. This place isn’t just loved by me—I can say my whole family enjoys it too. With friendly staff, amazing food, and quick service, what’s not to love? Unfortunately, I won’t be able to visit Alaska as often anymore, but I hope to come back to this place whenever I do!

If you want to try a little of everything, I ordered one of each, Carnitas, Shrimps and Halibut Tacos. Mmm! The tacos were great! Good food and fast service. All right, I want more. Will be safe again! Carnitas, Shrimp Halibut Tacos. Halibut Taco. Flan.

Delicious real Mexican food. I had the steak with rice and beans and tortillas and it was amazing. Personnel was friendly and helpful.
