Pagoda Chinese Restaurant Bar

Our appetizer, the pot stickers, was definitely the highlight of our meal. For our main courses, one of us ordered sesame chicken while I went for a combination platter that included wonton soup and various pork dishes. There was an abundance of food! I appreciated that they packed up our leftovers for us to take home. Additionally, the complimentary water and hot tea were a nice touch. The restaurant has a somewhat dim atmosphere, so if you have poor eyesight, you might need to use your phone's flashlight to read the menu, just like I did. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

The food was really delicious and fresh! The portion sizes are quite large; the two dishes we ordered could probably feed four people! The garlic sauce was a bit sweeter than I anticipated, but still tasted great. Given that we're in Alaska and somewhat remote, the dining experience exceeded our expectations!

This is truly the best Chinese food in the United States. I flew in from Hawaii and made it a point to visit at least three times during each trip. For those looking for a great Instagram photo opportunity, the scorpion bowl is perfect for a fun pregame or just to share. You really can't go wrong here!

Huge portions and amazing eating! I think I probably only ate the best ice cream I had in my life, it was full of filling and taste. the portion sizes were gigantic for lunch special and delivered more than enough food for one and potentially two if they could agree on a court. this is a large small place in north pole and I would recommend to everyone, within a moderate ride from it!

I wasn't impressed with Pagoda initially, with some of their dishes seeming pretty middle-of-the-road for Chinese fare, but their specialities and other named items changed my tune. The listed chef specialties, dragon items, and special entrees blow the more common dishes listed under pork/poultry/beef/seafood out of the water. I do think the self-pour tea is also a nice touch. The staff was all super friendly.
