Cafe Fruens Vilje - Faaborg-Midtfyn

Maybe the best snack lunch we had in Denmark. The raw fish on rye bread is excellent and the nut torte is divine and the home made lemonade is fantastic

We enjoyed Panini with serano and grilled chicken. The taste was good but the bread was to hard mutch roasted. Anyway the beer was cold.

We had lunch with some family members and it was very enjoyable. Great service, the smørrebrød was very tasty as was the beer. A very cosy and welcoming place.

Café Fruens Vilje is a delightful small cafe on the walking street in Faaborg. The food is delicious. It is a perfect place for a light lunch of a very Danish smørrebrød (open face sandwich) and a great Danish draft beer. The fried fish sandwich is really, really good. Cozy and very local. Say hi to Sabistian and his mother. Be sure to try one of his mother’s homemade chocolate chip cookies for desert. We went back twice.

Super cozy cafe in the heart of Fåborg, really sweet staff and delicious homemade food. We bought 2 pieces of butterbread every one that you could really taste was homemade... It was everything from the mayonnaise and the free almond to the chicken salad, it was a delight for the eye not to mention the risalaman who was too insane with homemade cherry sauce.
