Przekaż informację zwrotnąBecause we spent a week at a B and B rather near to this restaurant and I had read about it on TA, we were looking forward to having several meals here. The restaurant offers a beautiful view, looking down on Eze and the coast. The interior is nice enough, but the terrace could do with some more atmosphere.The owner (Australian?) is charming and very friendly. Therefore it is a pity we found the food disappointing. While reading the menu we were still enthusiastic , but when our food came we were a bit dissapointed. Of course you can't expect haute cuisine, they have reasonable prices. But the taste of the courses just wasn't what we had hoped for.
Six of us enjoyed lunch here on our way to Monte Carlo. The owner was extremely welcoming, interesting and helpful. The service was excellent. The menu was varied and interesting. We enjoyed the setting and views as we ate beatutifully prepared and well presented food. This was a real find and one we would love to return to one day.
Repas à peine correct pour le prix,heureusement qu'il y a la vue, pas du tout professionnel, le pain encore congelé et ouiiiiiiii je dis bien congelé.la propreté très limite, je déconseille se restaurant, il qu'il fasse un énorme progret sur l'accueil.. Très déçu
La Lasagne (Entrée) était froid et dur, sans aucun goût, les salades étaient toujours les mêmes et sans phantasie.Le morceau de canard était très grand mais sec et aussi dur, ma femme a vomi après 2 heures.Mon poulet avec boudain noir goûtait horriblement, et il me fait vomir après 4 heures.Ces répas sont un cas pour l'Inspection des Aliments.
Staying very close and this restaurant was in the literature left by the owners. didn't book just turned up early evening for supper . the indoor restaurant was packed with an America tour which in itself was quite amusing. The service was slow but then we didn't mind it's all part of the experience if you want fast food go to McDonald's ! The wine list was excellent we went for a very nice alsace sparkling which at €21 a bottle is very reasonable. The starter of sardines was pretty good . we were talked into the beef for two at €60 which I have to say was excellent along with the vegetables and polenta side dish. The beef was massive , well cooked and served with pride from the owner Geoff who along with the lovely waitress made the meal very special . you don't often come accross maverick owners that care about pleasing their clients over profit. All I in all don't go here because you want a quick easy meal go here because you value the whole meal experience . keep it up ! also funny how most of the few bad reviews are from French reviewers??
