I only stopped off for a break from driving. I was served smartly by friendly waiter with the tastiest Grand Creme that I'd had for my whole holiday in France. Nice and hot with hot milk in separate little jug. So good I had to...have a second drink !

Called in at the Aquitaine for lunch. Wasn't hungry but my husband wanted to come here. Well, I have to say I found my appetite! I had the tastiest piece of fish I've had in a long time. Lots of chips, which were very nice,...and some lettuce and tomato in a tasty dressing. Portions are man-sized, so very good value. Service is good, the place is clean and the proprietor makes you feel very welcome.
