I'm from Chicago moved out to the suburbs. And a couple years ago I found this place.. Best place for hot dogs, Gyros, etc..

Ordered the Monday special which was two hotdogs, fries, and a drink. Also ordered a small cup of cheese sauce. Chicago style dog is decent, but doesn't have that classic snap like the Vienna beef dogs at Portillo's. Fries have a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Fries were hot but not ripping hot like fresh from the fryer. Fries are mostly unsalted but there are salt packets at the counter.The atmosphere is quite lacking. One tv, no ambient music, and posters of Vienna beef and sausages.It's a small place that offers a variety of food options like tacos, gyros, burgers, and hotdogs. The price is reasonable and the food is decent, but nothing amazing stands out here. Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs for little ones.
