Thai Orchid - Exeter

The Thai Orchid has been around for 30 years. I celebrated my 21st birthday there and was impressed by the food. The quality has remained consistently good over the years, with authentic dishes prepared by a Thai chef. The meals are outstanding and showcase the extensive menu beautifully. Our favorite dish is the meal J, which includes some very spicy options like the Thai Spicy Sausage that we love for its incredible taste and heat. The service is excellent and the wine list complements the Thai cuisine perfectly.

This restaurant was absolutely delicious! We had been working very late and hadn't eaten all day, so maybe that added to our enjoyment of the meal, but regardless, it was amazing. The food was piping hot, fresh, and well cooked. The spring rolls were delicious, and the egg noodle dish was just as good. We quickly ordered seven dishes since it was late, and we were not disappointed. This was one of the best meals I've had in years.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I was particularly impressed with the starter, which was beautifully presented. The fish cakes were made from scratch and tasted just like those in Thailand, unlike many other Thai restaurants I have tried. I also tried Guaydiel, a noodle soup that is very popular among Thais. It made me feel like I was back in Thailand. The food was authentic, which I appreciated, as some restaurants tend to westernize their dishes. I want to thank the cooks for keeping true to the traditional flavors.

Perfect date night spot. My husband and I loved our meals, every full taste and cooked for perfection. The service was friendly and helpful. I also appreciate her willingness to sit on a busy Saturday night when we had no table reserved. We're coming back!

THE BEST for authenticity, quality of the ingredients and the menu. Above all the absolute genuine customer service and lady owner. I wanted to move in. They have been here 26 years. The fishcakes were amazing.
