The portions were small, the sticky rice was too solid and difficult to eat, and the katsu curry was lukewarm. The service was good, but overall, the price was not justified by the quality of the food.
I ordered a lunch with Thai fish cakes and a side of jasmine rice. I was expecting the fish cakes to be larger, similar to what I have had at other places. However, they were tiny and more like snacks, with only three on the plate. At a cost of £5, it felt like poor value for money. The taste was delicious, but the small portion size of the fish cakes made for a disappointing overall meal. If the fish cakes are meant to be more of an appetizer than a main dish, it should be made clear on the menu and priced accordingly.
After a previous delivery with a delivery, the owner personally received contact apologising and offers a free meal. the personal is incredibly friendly and welcoming. the dinner was delicious and will return definitiw. still to hear from Just...Eat, so I would recommend ordering through the restaurant instead of just eat.

Looking at other reviews I’m wondering if this was an extreme off night! We’ve eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants as it’s my favourite food, and what we were given was by far the worst we’ve had in the area, and one of the...worst of all time. For starters whilst the price seemed reasonable, the portions were absolutely tiny. The £2.50 sticky rice could fit in the palm of my hand, £6 for 3 slivers of satay chicken for a pound less our local Chinese takeaway does 5 strips that are twice the size and more tasty. Speaking of Chinese the pad kra pao Thai holy basil and chilli was totally devoid of any basil, and the chicken, peppers and loads of onion was reminiscent of a cheap Chinese takeaway, and totally bland. This is my favourite dish and was a huge disappointment. The ‘won ton’ was like a floppy, soggy slipper and the satay sauce was cold, all in all it was not £40 worth of food, especially when essential ingredients were lacking. I have a feeling this is actually Jasmine house trading on deliveroo under a different name so as to have a more limited menu, as the address is the same. A shame as it put a downer on a special day for us, and we’d wanted to order from Thai orchid but they weren’t accepting deliveroo orders that day, and our next favourite Thai restaurant is over in Honiton! Needless to say we won’t bother again.
