Ii never had a bad meal in this hotel. the staff is always friendly and helpful, da rump steak is for great work man and girl die

Came in for lunch last weekend and the meals were poor quality. Garlic bread (starter) came to our table 15min after our mains. My partner had roast beef that was tough and the veggies were a soggy mess. I had a steak, chips were soggy...,the steak was over cooked and tasteless and the socalled bearnaise sauce was not eatable just tasted like sweet melted butter. I would have felt guilty feeding this food to my dogs.

We had a lovely lunch with our daughter in the beer garden. The food was very good and the company excellent. We seem to have been forgotten in the beer garden. No-one came to clear our plates and to be honest we could have left...without even paying for the bill if we were dishonest. We did have a lovely lunch and would deffinately return

Try and find a place that can cater for the whole family, look no further, finally a pub with fantastic normal and vegan meals, highly recommended

Four of us enjoyed the lunch yesterday in the exeter hotel, very pleasant dining room clean bright and comfortable chairs. that was great and the staff bright and friendly a good wine list also, we will be back.
