Came in and ordered two flat whites on a Sunday afternoon, and can honestly say I've not had a bad flat white like that for a while. There was barely any frothy milk on top, and drank like a white americano. Had a very bitter...taste almost like it was burnt. The table we sat on was dirty and had dried food on it like it hadn't been cleaned for the entire day. My stomach also hurt for hours after drinking the coffee.
As a regular customer love this place been coming here for years, lan the manager is great all staff great at customer service and fun,,, It always cheers me up perfect coffee everytime Alan
The standard Cafe Nero food and drink but with the added bonus of a really friendly and enthusiastic staff member (which is rare in my experience) thanks for making my coffee a happy one!
A quick coffee before meeting family in town for brunch. But today we thought we would give this cafe a go as not been in in a few years but oh my what a shock we got at the state of the place. Shabby and...torn furniture, filthy public areas, toilets disgusting what a shame this cafe Nero has become neglected in the past few years. Don’t think any refurbishment has been done on this or the other cafe Nero in Exeter in many a year or since it opened! They both need complete and utter gutting. Compared to other cafes in this chain in other towns these are by far the worse two we’ve been in , in one city. Our coffees were passable. Staff seemed chipper and were polite.
