Glad we did......the owner was wonderful and the food was so fresh, hot and amazing......no msg was a bonus so we could actually taste the flavour of the food. So much food was piled on our plates so we had enough for two meals. Prices were reasonable and the best thing was the chicken balls and the battered shrimp was not greasy at all. We love it and will definitely return.
Only been in a couple of times, but I really have no complaints. Food tasted fresh, buffet was kept well stocked. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable.
2 adults and 2 children buffets for a total of $76. I wouldn't have mind paying it if it were at least good food. The won tons in the soup were mush and the broth had no flavour whatsoever. The beef and broccoli tasted like fish and the chicken balls had no flavour or chicken in them. Nothing we tried was even remotely tasty. Will never go back again.
My husband and myself absolutely love to eat Canton House Chinese food.......We mostly order take-out. The food preparation is always hot and fresh and very tasty. We recommend the beef and broccoli and the hot sour soup..YUMMY ! The eat -in buffet has always been a good experience for us as well. The owners are such friendly and pleasant people who will make my husband his favorite noodle dish-which isn't on the menu. We appreciate good quality food and the great service we always receive. For a small town, we are lucky in Exeter to have the Canton House Buffet !
Had another excellent meal from Canton House on Friday night. Their food is always fresh, hot and plentiful. I had a conversation with one lady while we were both waiting for our takeout orders and she said she gets so much food with the 'dinner for one ' that it 's enough for both her and her husband for a meal. Here 's a hint their Sesame Chicken isn 't listed on the menu, but you can ask for it. It 's absolutely delicious!
