They are undergoing construction during the day. The chefs really should watch how much salt they are throwing into the food. From Steak Frites to fries, French Onion Soup to the Chicken Sandwich to the chips that came with our Spinach Dip, everything was overloaded with way too much salt and I actually am a salt fan (unfortunately) but even for my tastebuds, everything was unbearably covered in salt.
We loved the banquet room it was just perfect for our large group! The wait staff was so kind and helpful it made our event just right!
We were seated and our waiter came to take drink orders. He was so busy with the bar and tables that it seemed like he could have been an excellent server if he weren't trying to do 3 other peoples jobs! He definitely deserves a raise for all this hard work. We felt so bad for him trying to manage it all. We ordered a steak, vegetables and the pork shoulder. The food came out barely warm. It seemed like it was cooked prior and reheated. My pork was so burnt and dry I couldn't eat it. Definitely won't ever get that again and it was also not worth the $30! The prices are definitely a lot higher than they should be for the quality of food we were served. Dessert, our drinks and our waiter was basically the best part of this visit. The butterscotch lush was rich and creamy and unlike any dessert I've ever tasted. It had the right amount of everything. The jalapeño margarita was spicy and sweet at the same time. Our waiter was phenomenal.
This was the absolute worst meal I 've had in a LONG time. Wife had the prime rib, medium, which came out looking like it had been under a heat lamp to bring it from medium rare to medium. My filet was ok... Mashed potatoes ok... Lobster bisque was garbage...99% sure they poured it out of a store bought container and added lobster. Paying almost $200 for a garbage meal is the worst part... My Pepsi was good though lol
This is now called Three Owls at The Elms. Very disappointing. Ordered a Filet that was tough and dry and 48.00. Sides are Ala carte. Ordered 8.00 mashed potatoes that were warm at best and INSTANT potatoes. Husband ordered the Pork Chop that was 42.00 and he said it was very good. He also ordered the chefs Ala carte (12.00$ risotto that was was suppose to be Apple and rosemary. Risotto had nothing in it at all. Won't be back to this restaurant next time we are in town.
