Friendly village pub with a superb restaurant. Booked Sunday lunch for the family. There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant busy buzz about the place. Lunch was a most generous meal with a wonderful range of vegetables as well as the beautifully cooked pork and beef. We managed to clear our plates, but only just! In my opinion the red cabbage and 'Nonnas ' peas were the stars of the veg show. All served with courtesy and and attention to detail. Highly recommend a visit!

I visited The Temple Bar on Friday, November 24, 2023, to catch up with some old friends over dinner. The staff greeted us warmly in the bar, which had a lovely atmosphere and a cozy log fire. We dined in the restaurant, where the à la carte menu offered a great variety of reasonably-priced options. The food was outstanding, and the service was equally impressive; the staff took excellent care of us throughout the evening. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work! The food and drinks: a fantastic menu with plenty of good choices at fair prices.
