At The Table 2 Southern - Ewing

Traveling through NJ for work and came across this gem while looking for the best Soulfood in town. Safe to say we found it….. started with cornbread it is legit the best cornbread I have ever eaten. Perfect crust, fluffy on the inside. We had Fried Salmon, Fried Lambchops, Macaroni and Cheese and Cabbage. This place is a gem. Everything was delicious. We ate inside, customer service was great. Get here early things may be out. I can assure you anytime I venture into NJ I’m gone detour here. It’s that damn good!!! Thank You guys job well done

I wish I could give them a 10!!! I always get the grilled salmon , butter rice with yams and Mac. A lemonade with ice and it sends me a tee straight to heaven every time! If you are looking for some good soul food that is cooked fresh and well seasoned , look no further !! You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

The food was amazing, I felt like I was eating my grandma's cooking... the portions were large, the food was good quality and worth the price. My server was hilarious... they made us feel like family and definitely fed us like we were. It's a long drive from my home, but per the owners, they are planning to open another location. Hopefully, it will be closer to my neighborhood... I'm looking forward to eating at the new location... but if I have to, I may drive an hour again for a good meal.

We weren’t sure what we wanted when we first got there and asked to look at the menu. Then we decided to sit down to eat. Then this waitress comes over and doesn’t even greet us, but instead says something to the extent, “I’m assuming you guys know what you want being that you were standing there, looking at the menu for so long” . I was incredibly turned off and would have left but my friend who is always very chill diffused the situation by just laughing it off. I wasn’t happy at all. customer service is huge for me and specifically for that I wouldn’t return. The food was just OK nothing I would recommend. Was a disappointing experience. The music playlist was good …..

The actual food is good. But they nickel and dime for everything. They charge for gravy on the side. Extra hot sauce. A bag for your take out order. The bag thing is just ridiculous. I never ordered take out and had to pay for a bag. They need to invest in some paper bags for their customers and stop charging extra for a necessity. Talk about supporting black businesses? SMH sometimes they can be a bit much.
