Don't get me wrong, I love this place, but I recently had their Chinese roast Pork and came home to a blubbery, fatty selection of pork. I was just disappointed, telling myself that this is not the Loco Moco that I loved. Don't let this review stop you from trying other favorites like their Loco Moco but I can't suggest their roast pork, it just wasn't crispy, and not as flavorful. Parking: Due to the old FHB being vacant, the lot is quite empty now days (as of 6/6/24).
No bathroom no place to wash hands. I took my money somewhere else.
Nice food, good prices. Around lunch time and after school hours it gets really busy.
Very good seafood combo with ribs. Timely and friendly service.
Was excited to try it based on the reviews, but was disappointed. I got mochiko chicken and it was very VERY greasy (as in grease shot out when you tried to cut it or put your fork in it), the rice was bland/unseasoned in any way, and the mac salad was okay. We also got chicken katsu, which was also very greasy, and some of the chicken didn't seem fully cooked. Decent amount of food for the price, but also overpriced when you consider the quality/tastiness. The staff seemed friendly enough, but the place itself was a bit of a chaotic mess. Why are there boxes upon boxes stacked in one section of the dining room? It makes it seem dirty and unorganized; at least put up a curtain or something to block it from view. There were also empty boxes across the dining room on another table. Probably won't be going back, but I may decide to give it another try in the future to see if it was a one time thing or not.
