Everglades Adventure Center Tiki Hut Grill And

My Girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at The Everglades Adventure Center today. We had a late lunch! What a magnificent spot! Right on the water in the heart of Everglades City! The best view, the best food, great prices and and relaxing dining experience that is second to none. I had the Fried Chicken Buffet (which is only available for Sunday Lunch apparently. This is traditional southern style home cooking at its best! The chicken was moist and tender (not greasy and all the side dishes were some of the best tasting fixins East or West of Alligator Ally I have ever had (compete with homemade dessert. A great Value and a great price in my opinion! My Girlfriend had a Glass of wine and the Shrimp Caesar Salad. Now when it comes to Salads there is nobody more picky than MY girlfriend. The greens MUST be fresh, the Croutons MUST be crispy and the dressing MUST have the right kick to it. She told me it was one of the freshest, best tasting Salads she had ever had. The shrimps were large and prepared well (not overcooked or dried out. Service was very good! The place is kept very clean! They had a friendly staff an there was plenty of free parking! We stayed and admired the peaceful view for almost an hour after our meal. It 's a view and outdoor dining area/deck that is right out of a magazine! There were many, many other great dishes to choose from all at fair prices. They have a full bar and indoor dining (although we prefer outside as well. We were told this location was recently renovated/remodeled and put under new ownership. Its a great place to dine, relax and enjoy the best view in town! I highly recommend you try this rare find! It will be an experience like no other!

Love this place. All new staff that really cares about your visit! The new menu is fantastic. Can't stay away from the frog legs. Yummmm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a really relaxing tiki hut, waterfront dining. Beautiful breeze. Just a all around relaxing, delicious gem of a find. Makes me never want to go home. A definite must try!
