De Wereld Is Klein - Evergem

Today, Wednesday 08.03.23, we were with our family (6 people) for a reservation at 12:00 at Klein Earthken 5/7 in Evergem. Four members were from Dargem and two from Zaffelare, totaling 38 miles. We had received a confirmation email for our reservation on Wednesday at 12:00, but upon arrival, we found the restaurant closed. After some confusion with a staff member who didn't speak our language, we contacted the phone number listed on the door. We were informed that the restaurant had closed temporarily, which was disappointing. I expressed my frustration and mentioned leaving a negative review. I hope you understand my reaction, as this situation could have been more problematic with a larger group. I believe some compensation for our inconvenience is in order. It was good, but too short. We were there at 12:00. It took at least 15 minutes.

I had a reservation for my girlfriend's birthday at this restaurant at 8:45, because this is open till 10:00. I came to get someone from the kitchen who couldn't speak humility. Then this one calls to the person responsible, I guess, and she said I couldn't come to dinner. Of course I was angry because on the website, you can reserve every 15 minutes, and I'm coming in and I'm not. I was ashamed there. I couldn't go to dinner with my girlfriend either. The restaurant was closed! After the count. contact, people claimed they had recorded 4x phone contact with us without recording us. This is no way. In our cell phone, there was no count. The day before that, we had a reminder of our planned visit. So email address was definitely known. We got a free aperitif at the restaurant in varsenaere. Two 88 years old people still drive to varsenare, 50 miles after we got out of eklo was not an option.
