She never left our drinks empty and was very professional. next time I come back to wa, I will definitely be over again, so if they are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go.
I'm starting with the good one. When I arrived, I was greeted with a homestyle tortilla who reminded me of how my opa did it. completely exquisite with the choice of butter and/or hot sauce. I traditionally went with butter as my grandfather had to do earlier and it was lovely. that was the best part of all the experience here. I have brought my wife here and all my life I have always heard great things from this place. my sister knows the owners of the in snohomish and would praise their food, so I guess it would be a great authentic Mexican food. to my honest opinion, his taste with maybe taco bell and I hate to say that, but realistic, his menu had no deep. I ordered a simple combination dish, an enchilada and burrito and the only thing that separated the two was the tortilla. the enchilada had mais and the burrito had flour. I ordered both with ground beef and that was all that was in the 2 of them, only bark. I am spoiled to assume that a burrito should have more in it, but I always expect there to be drilling, rice, salsa cheese or something that should be in the bowl. Of course, eating was less than average and the part was tiny. I'm not a big fat guy who complains that I didn't get half a cow for the price of a burger. I am over a dollar fifty and spent $60 on 2 meals and 2 so and made absolutely hungry where I went home and made genuine authentic Mexican food that had rice and beef and meat in my own burrito. all this negativeity is said, the people are nice and the atmosphere friendly, so do not let my criticism stop trying it. as I said, the woman who made the tortillas at the door, she will feel welcome and thank her because without her this would have been a star review. but she brought back a piece of my memory to my grandfather nieves rubio and it made the whole experience so much better. they also have a happy hour that I did not try, and I have heard the margaritas are great, so maybe try that and leave them their own reviews for others.
Great eating, but I asked for no sour cream on my maul enchiladas. while eating came super fast, one of the enchilada's sour cream had hidden under the mauls sauce, as if someone had let it scratch after the action. from five stars to four stars.
Service I had it ever. we went last night to get a late dinner after the Everclear concert. after no interaction with the woman who sat us, she said, "I cannot serve them any alcohol because they are intoxicated." we were absolutely not (we had every 3 regular cups of beer over a 5 hours period - not even flushed.) I asked them what basis they had to say that, since we did not even interact with them and they would just say: "I can serve them water they are being intoxicated". she said we could talk to the manager, so please we said. He came by and before we could say something: “I am busy, I have no time to talk to you.” I asked again why we were told that we were not served and why they thought we were intoxicated. he said, “You were at the concert.” what if he hadn’t followed us, he would not have been able to know where we would come from, and I didn’t know that I went to a concert right away, meant that you were drunk. it was like it was on Candid camera. they were busy, so I think that seemed like a good way to turn the business away when we were treated so rudely. I would never go back.
We went for my brother's birthday, a party of 7, they tried to get us seated right away in separate tables but we decided to wait so we could sit together, we were still seated within 30 minutes. They were quite busy for a weeknight and there were a lot of people helping out to make sure we had everything we needed. All the food was delicious, fresh, and definitely tasted made from scratch.
