Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Evansville

I go here all the time and I love their smoothies! There some downsides to their service and how fast you get your food. they don’t have a great system for making their sandwiches and it takes a looooong time to get any sort of food there. Considering they have a drive thru I would imagine they’d be a bit quicker. I also suggest you don’t get any additions in your smoothie since it’s a lot of money and they often screw up the mixture. I always get the açaí berry boost and it hits every time when you don’t add anything. I recently got the berry boost with whey protein and it was terrible. It’s a hit or miss and never consistent. I’ll still go here but the food is too long of a wait, too expensive, and never put together well.

Food is always good. Service never has been. Little girl at the register always seems annoyed when taking orders. It seems like a place where more people would smile instead of rolling their eyes. The girl also was talking about me to another co worker and that made me feel very uncomfortable. Like I said the foods always good but when I'm taking a break on lunch it would be great if the people working at a place I visit frequently would be nice and professional. Won't be back for some time. This ruined my day.

I want to extend a public THANK YOU!!!!! to GM Brittany for going above and beyond in her customer service.Yesterday, I ordered lunch from the Evansville location and was very disappointed to find bacon my sandwich once I got home (I’m a vegetarian). I had decided I wouldn’t be back to this business because I was so frustrated with my experience.Brittany reached out to me promptly and went ABOVE BEYOND in resolving my issue! She remade our meals perfectly and truly redeemed her store. We will absolutely be back because of how fantastically promptly this was all handled!!!!

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT EXCEPT I DIDN'T RECEIVE A STRAW FOR MY SMOOTHIE. WE DON'T HAVE STRAWS HERE AT THE OFFICE, THANK GOODNESS I HAD AN EXTRA McDONALD'S STRAW!

Nice place. We go whenever we feel in need of refreshment, run-down or greyed out.
