Lic's Deli Ice Cream - Evansville

It was a delightful trip down memory lane. The club sandwich and ice cream were exceptional.

First of all, the ice cream is absolutely fantastic! I tried the spicy chili, which had a nice kick to it, but it contained very little meat. As a chili enthusiast, I always make it a point to try it at any restaurant that serves it. To me, chili needs a good balance of meat and beans. Unfortunately, Lics' chili was more akin to a broth rather than a hearty meal.

Update June 2022: I hadn't visited this place since before the pandemic, so I decided to stop by for my favorite Choco creams. I was shocked by the considerable price increase—around 40% higher than the last time I bought them. When I spoke to the staff member who was helping me, I mentioned that I would be letting the manager and owner know that I wouldn't be returning, as I refuse to pay $15 for a quart of ice cream coated in chocolate. I can easily make that at home for much less, so that's the route I’ll be taking.

I absolutely love their gourmet subs and cherry Pepsi. Plus, they serve the best ice cream!

Got 2 milkshakes both were made with soured milk.
