La Campirana - Evansville

We dropped in La Campirana for quick early dinner Thursday evening and as usual it was fantastic. I was excited to see they have expanded with more tables in an adjacent room and now have ice cream! I had my favorite, the Ensalada with chorizo, rice and refried beans. It was huge! Hubby had his favorite the chicken quesadilla. My salad was fresh, and as always very flavorful. The quesadilla was very cheesy and there was plenty of chicken. Their service is always very friendly and fast and our dinner was brought to our table! For authentic Mexican food this place is the best!!

This is one of the best places in Evansville to dine! I always get the sopes with carne asada and they’re just spectacular! The staff is absolutely wonderful and I just love them! I could eat here every single day of my life!

So the first time we went to eat here, they where a little slow on my food, because they said they made a mistake, but the food was so good, and the people where so friendly, I had to go back. Today when we ate there the service was quicker, and the food was even better. When I like something at a place, I usually only get that choice, but I was brave and decided to try something different and yes...it was amazing also...can't wait to go back, maybe I'll make it Thru the whole menu. Love the food and the nice people

Not one of the 'usual ' restaurants, this place serves really great food and has extremely friendly staff. I love it! I highly recommend La Campirama.

Best Mexican food I have eaten since being stationed in El Paso . I live close to Louisville but will be coming back to this place any time I get a chance
