Freddy's Frozen Custard Steakburgers

There are 2 types of burgers, smash crispies and big ole fat ones. If you?re looking for the flat ones, this is one of the best places to go. Although it is a chain restaurant, they do an exceptional job with their burgers. There?s just the right amount of crispiness around the edges. And they keep them simple, do you want cheese only not a problem. Maybe a little lettuce maybe a little tomato, not too much they don?t wanna make them too healthy. But for a guilty pleasure or somewhere just to get away and have a good burger this is the place! The fries are good, the shoestring but I think the best of the onion rings. I?ve never made it all the way past needing ice cream also. But I have gone for just ice cream and it is great also.

Positive aspects of the visit was the staff was working hard to get orders out. The downside is they were understaffed and the place was filthy. There was an eternal wait for our food and a similar wait later for ice cream. The ice cream machine looked like it had been stuck on fast forward and both vanilla and chocolate ice cream was running down the front of the machine. The staff was using this ice cream (exposed with no covering) to make the different treats. Not sure how sanitary this was? There were a couple people in line that walked out because they never got waited on. All of the employees were busy preparing orders. I think the customers standing in line should have at least been acknowledged by one of the employees. The burgers and fries we ordered were good so no complaints there. But all in all, the operation was a hot mess.

The West side location is better, in my opinion. I've never had an issue with the West side. Yesterday at the East side my burger was undercooked, asked for another it was under cooked as well, so I ate my fries and left. The cook said their meat is naturally pink after being cooked, but I've been to Freddy's at least 10 or more times since they've been on the west side, it's my fave burger place and never had a pink burger, I despise under cooked meat, my body doesn't do well with raw meat. The staff was super friendly tho, the tables and booths weren't cleaned so that was gross to have to find the least dirty table to sit at and eat. There was plenty staff to keep up with cleaning. Overall east side is ok, west side is way better. I love Freddy's food so I always go back.

We had three kids meals ordered, but I had $10 reward from previous purchases. The food was great. The employees were friendly and cheerful. We enjoyed our meals greatly. This is a good place to come!

Although it is a chain restaurant, they do an extraordinary job with their burgers. There is only the correct amount of sharpness around the edges. And they just keep them, you don't want cheese any problem. Maybe a small salad might make a little tomatoes, not too much they don't want to make them healthy. But for a guiltful joy or just to get away and have a good burger, this is the place! The frits are good, the shoe, but I think the best of the onion rings. I never managed to pass ice cream. But I just went for ice and it's great too.
